Hello! My name is Angel Carmella, 23, from the Philippines and I am filled with excitement as I embark on the path to becoming an au pair. I have a genuine love for both children and older individuals, and my life journey has been shaped by a strong sense of responsibility, academic excellence, and unwavering dedication. Recently, I graduated in Electronics and Communications Engineering. However, there's more to me than just academics. I have embraced numerous responsibilities that have influenced my character and sense of empathy. Growing up, I took on the role as a second mom for my younger brother and half-sister due to my father's absence and my mother's work abroad. This experience instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and compassion. While my mother was away, I made sure my siblings felt loved and supported as they grew. I find immense joy in nurturing and being a positive influence in their lives.
Aside from my compassionate nature, I possess a range of skills that I believe will contribute to my role as an au pair. My culinary knowledge allows me to create nutritious and delightful meals. My background in engineering has honed my problem-solving and adaptability skills, which are crucial in addressing the dynamic challenges of caregiving. Furthermore, my knowledge of household chores and cleaning ensures a comfortable and organized living space for the entire family. Also, as a Red Cross member, I am proficient in first aid, giving me the confidence to handle emergency situations and ensure the children's safety and well-being.
