My name is Angela Denise . I am a 23 year-old (female). I currently live here in the Philippines, where I finished my degree in Bachelor of SCience in Information technology in the University of the Cordilleras.
I come from a family of 7: My parents, Maria Theresa and Wendelin, are retired from their work and have no work as of the moment. I have 3 sisters and one brother. My eldest sister Melanie, is 40 years old and works in Shell International. My second sister Charlene, is 37 years old and is a nurse in San Diego, CA. My third sister Camille, is 37 years old and is also a nurse working in Manila. My brother , is 30 years old and is a freelance virtual assistant.
In about five years I plan to pursue a another degree but I am yet to make up my mind considering my finances. So, at the moment, I would like to have a different life experience and be productive. To think that spending a time abroad would help me shape my future and bring out the best in me since I will be independent.
My first language is Tagalog/Filipino, and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English when I was very young. My parents would talk to us in mixed languages (English and Tagalog) and growing up while studying at school, the majority of the classes are in English and we only have 2 subjects that are in Filipino.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in formal and informal contexts. I have been taking care of my niece and nephews since they were born for about 12 years now. I have been baby sitting for my friend while they working. It has been a part of my everyday life to take care of my niece Kheira (age 9) since her parents left her in our care since she was 1. I also take care of my niece Audrey every time they visit our family here in the Philippines. I can sincerely say that I love and enjoy spending time with children.
When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, cooking and baking, reading books, going out with my friends, visiting places I have not been to, and going to the beach .
As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 12 months or more. I’m not particular with the age range because I'm comfortable even with newborns. Lastly, although I am flexible with the time since I prefer a live-in arrangement, as long as I have time to talk to my family here in the Philippines, even just for an hour.
