Introduction
My name is Regine, I'm 28 years old, and single. I am a friendly, honest, loyal, respectful, caring and trustworthy person. I assure you will not regret reading about why I want to become your Au Pair.
I have lived with my parents, siblings, nephew, and nieces for almost 3 years since the pandemic. We're a big family of 11 in our home: my mother, father, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 3 kids, and a toddler, including my puppy, which I took care of personally and am the youngest of my siblings. At the moment, I am at my 5th-year level at university. I am taking a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Sadly I stopped this semester because of financial problems. But I will finish my degree after 1 year of being an au pair. I want to take my free time to explore and gain new experiences abroad. Afterward, I will return to university to finish my education and build my career.
In my free time, I like to sing karaoke. My hobbies are swimming, drawing, and photography. During the last few years since the pandemic, I spent more time with my family, especially with the kids in our house. I love to play with kids, which makes our home life, and last year our family welcomed a new baby. My sister gave birth to a baby boy. I help my siblings with childcare and sometimes with homework during home school because of the lockdown. I also teach them to draw and color since my sister is busy caring for her newborn baby.
I love to be an Aupair to learn new things in life since I am in my late 20s. I want to experience living in a different environment, learn about other cultures, and gain international experience. It will also be interesting to experience being part of a family from different cultures and places. Aside from that, I also love kids, and I know that being an au pair comes with big responsibilities. I will be a big sister to them, playing, doing activities, and guiding them.
I have experience living in my cousins' house and aunt babysitting their kids and I can assess myself that I can easily adapt to a new environment and task. I have no problem getting along with kids and others since I am patient, calm in every situation, and very understanding. I respect the house owner as much as I respect the rules if you have. I am not a shy type of person, and I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
Being part of a big family, I am confident we're all family-oriented, which I am proud to say. As a candidate for being an Au Pair, I want to share what my family has. I want to share the support, the care, and the love we have for us, and I want to share with my future host family, which I will have soon as an au pair.
I can assure you also that I can babysit since I live with 3 kids and a toddler in our home. I can also cook, which is one of the things I like to do in the kitchen, do household chores and I speak well and understand very well in English and am willing to learn a new language. I can also do activities such as singing and drawing/painting with the kids since I have an art (architecture) educational background I can also ride a bicycle and my health is in good condition.
My qualifications are:
?? Babysitting
?? Household chores
?? Prepare meal for kids
?? Help getting ready for school
?? Playing with kids
?? Can swim
?? Helping kids do thier homeworks
?? Accompany kids/play with them
Being away from my family is not a problem to me since I have lived alone in a different city for almost 5 years while I was studying at University. You don't have to be worried about me getting homesick because I can easily adapt to a new environment and very much excited to experience new things abroad.
I am excited to hear about you and your children. I hope you like my letter, and I can't wait to hear back from you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Have a nice day.
Kind regards,
Regine
