Hello :) My name is Veronika, I'm 22 year-old from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. I am a student, but I'm taking a break from my studies., so I'm looking for new challenges and experiences :) I would also like to study abroad in the future, so I'm working on that :) I'm very open-minded, responsible, flexible, organized and extremely reliable..
I love reading and am a huge bookaholic :) ..I also like european & art movies. I enjoy art and visiting galleries&museums and being creative. Baking and cooking are also one of my favourite things to do.
I love animals- also one of the main reasons why I'm vegan-but i don't think that should be a problem, since I know how to cook. I'm always interested in learning about new dishes. On my free time i bake, learn how to sew and knit, i go out, sometimes go for a run, watch movies..
I do not smoke (never did) and I rarely get sick. I try to live as earth-friendly as possible :)
I think it's great if someone can speak many foreign languages - I am learning (I'm a beginner) dutch & spanish . I'm also in love with Amsterdam, so it would be perfect if I could go there as an au pair and (hopefully ;)) become fluent in dutch :)
I am a big fan of traveling and i enjoy exploring new cultures. That is also one of the reasons why I want to become an au pair - and of course I love being around children. I have worked as a nanny for the past 5 years, so I have experience with children :) I looked after a 6-year old girl for 3 years during high school. I occasionally babysit a 2 and a 4 year old- sometimes we go to the park with their mum, so she can relax a little, and sometimes I go out with the boy alone. And of course I'm learning a lot with my current host family :)
I'm used to doing all kinds of housework. I do everything that needs to be done around the house at home and I actually like doing most of it.
