Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. My name is Esther, I am 20 years old, and I come from Kenya. I am excited about the possibility of becoming part of your family as your Au Pair. I hope this letter helps you get to know me better and understand why I would love to join your family.

I grew up in a loving family where helping one another was part of everyday life. From a young age, I learned the importance of kindness, responsibility, respect, and patience. These values have shaped the person I am today and have also helped me become confident in caring for children.

I have many years of childcare experience through taking care of my younger siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and children from other families in my community. Looking after children has taught me how to be patient, understanding, and dependable. I enjoy playing games, reading stories, helping with homework, drawing, singing, dancing, going for walks, and encouraging children to learn while having fun. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and loved.

I would describe myself as caring, honest, hardworking, cheerful, and open-minded. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures and traditions. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, reading, learning new languages, taking nature walks, journaling, spending time with children, and learning new skills. I also value family time and believe that small moments together create lasting memories.

One of the reasons I want to become an Au Pair is because I love working with children and I want to experience life in a different culture. I believe living with a host family is a wonderful opportunity to learn from one another. I am excited to share my Kenyan culture, traditions, and food while also learning about your family's way of life. I hope to become a caring older sister to your children and someone they can trust and enjoy spending time with.

As your Au Pair, I promise to be responsible, respectful, flexible, and supportive. I understand that caring for children is a great responsibility, and I will always do my best to ensure they are safe, happy, and encouraged. I am also willing to help with light household tasks related to the children and to work together with you to make daily family life easier.
