I’m very excited about getting to know you, but firstly I want to introduce myself to you and hopefully to make your decision easier….
I’m Linet . I’m 23 years old and I live in Bomet, a small town of Sotik, Kenya with my mother , youngest brother and my nephew. I was 20 when my father past away.I was in high school when I’m dreaming going abroad but now with your help, this dream could become true. I’m happy that my family is supporting me on this plan going abroad as au pair because they knew that there’s a lot of opportunities waiting for me there. I would describe myself as caring, loving, friendly, trustworthy, helpful and positive girl. I’m a person with a strong-will and determination. In my spare time, I love listening any kind of music, watching movies, surfing in internet and make some drawing. I also love to sing and dance.
The reason why I want to be an au pair is to gather valuable memories living with a new family in a foreign country, to see your children grow and learn, meeting new people and new friend and experience the way of life of different culture. It would be great experience for me to share my life with your family become more independent and have a self-confident and spending time with you and your kids. Especially earning money so that I can also help my family.
Experience working with children:
When I was about 12 years old, I have looked after my little nephew. He was 8 months old when my sister left him because she was working in Dubai. When my father and mother are busy I’m the one to take care of him. Now he is already 10 years living with us. Last year, vacation day. My aunt asked me to look for her two kids at the age of 13 and 9 because her housemaid was not around so I’m the one to take care of them. The eldest was in summer class at that time. When his class is over, I make a call or text him to know if he is in the terminal to fetch him. Sometimes I cook for them. In my spare time, I also had to take good care of my little niece . She’s turning 3 this august.She is the daughter of my cousin. I looked after her when my cousin was busy in the household or when she’s out. We go to the lake which is only 5 minutes’ walk from our house. We often go to the park and play ground. We also go to the newest high way which is very near to our house. That high way is not yet open so we always go there to walk, run and play. I also accompany her when she wanted to watch because sometimes she was afraid.I also teach her to sing and dance.
I hope we can develop a good relationship and work and
live together as a family. I’m looking forward to a great year with your family.
