Dear Host family,
thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
My name is Ann and am 22 years old.You surely get a lot of letters from prospective Au pairs,but rest assured,you will not regret to read about my reasons why i want to become your Au pair.
I am currently living with my brother,my sister in law and their lovely kids in Nairobi Kenya.My parents live in the suburbs of Laikipia county.I am
currently taking care of my nephew and nieces.I cant wait to explore more from the world and other countries.
In my spare time,i volunter doing shopping errands for my family.I am entrusted with taking care of kids in the church that i attend.I do teach the kids songs as well as ensure they play without hurting each other.In some cases,i help the parents feed the kids.I also enjoy playing with the kids games such as hide and seek,colouring and painting.I also love reading.
I would love to become your next Au pair because i love children and enjoy spending time with them.I am prepared and well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be fun and play.My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult for instance when the kids are tired or do not want to listen to me.
I expect that in the first couple of days i will be exhausted at night because i guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring.But i am sure that i will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a good help for you.
Living with me is really easy as i am not a demanding person.I do respect that the house is your house and i have to follow your house rules.If something works not as quite as it should,i prefer to talk rather than ignore things.
I have never been abroad but am used to not being around my parents since i joined boarding school while i was still very young so i do not think i will become particular homesick.
I am really curious to hear all about you and your children I hope you like my letter and i cant wait to hear from you.
