I would describe myself as a Respectful, observant reliable and patient person who always provide first -class Care.
Over the years,I have worked with various roles where the need to work closely with other people, following restrict rules and procedures demonstrating understanding and empathy have been required.
I'm very passionate about being a caregiver follows my position and cheery disposition have make me very much suited in the work.
If you hire me, I'll be available to work in hours needed. Cover additional shifts and help where required,Support my co-workers to ensure the best care have been provided and afforded by your clients and patients.
Being a caregiver takes patient,understanding and empathy.
I feel I have natural affinity in the role of a caregiver. I because of my experiences; 1, taking care of elderly relative.
2, working with family of eight 1years experience in Amman Jordan 2014-2015.
Three teenage girls, two middle school girls and a Boy 3 years old. Father and mother over 40 years.I believe I have necessary skills, qualities and empathy to Excel in the role.
I want to be a caregiver because it is a meaningful career and you quickly get to see the impact of work in having on your clients and the hours are far much more affective than a typical, office based 9-5 Job.
I also want to be a caregiver because it keeps you grounded,you get to appreciate life you are having and genuinely make a positive difference into someones life.
There are various skills a caregiver needs to be competent in the role.
Empathy and understanding are the first 2:
You must see things in your client and provide care based on their individual needs.
Excellent communication and listening skills are also pivotal in the role. You must ask the right questions and be able to create a care plan that's tailored to each client you're looking after, and demonstrate active Listening skills to show you genuinely care.
Some clients just need someone to talk to and genuinely show interest in their day and how they feel.
You must show Dignity and Respect, be good in paying attention in details skills, following rules and procedures,be an excellent team worker and prepared to deal with challenges as and may arise.
I would deal with difficult client by remaining calm, following my training skills and follow rules and procedures detailed by my employer. And by using good interpersonal skills and relatable experience to quickly resolve the issue.
I would always be positive in demonstrating , understanding and empathy to show I genuinely care and apologise to any negative experience they have had.
Whilst dealing with difficult client,I would use positive words and phrases towards the client and focus on what we wanted to achieve, and work hard to build a strong relationship moving forward.
With any difficult client, I would listen. I would not take anything they said personally. I would try to learn as much as I could about their situation and personality,I would always be considerate, nice and care.
Finally I would quickly come up with the a solution to their needs or problem and keep them updated on progress if there was an ongoing issues.
My strength include my compassion for others, and my ability to translate the Empathy I have into positive action for patient and clients.
Other strength include my positive and optimistic outlook on life which often rubs on those around me, and strong attention to detail, organisational and muilt - tasking capabilities.
I can handle the Workload that comes with being a caregiver and I will always, support the organisation I ma employed by to deliver excellent patient and clients care.
I would deal with an emergency situation by , remaining calm follow my training and quickly assess the patient/ client to determine their injuries.
I would also require assistance from other caregivers and inform the management team immediately so they could contact the patients family representative. I would also focus on safety and ensure everyone safety is paramount.
