Hi! My name is Maggie, I'm 23 years old, and I’m a super motivated and excited au pair.
I have been a professional nanny in the United States for four years and have worked with several families of diverse needs, ages, and time frames; ranging from a few months to several years. I consider childcare and education one of my greatest passions in life, and one of my dreams is to open my own small scale preschool! I always build a really strong bond with the children I care for, providing lots of hugs and nanny love, on top of peak care. The child's happiness is always the most important and highly valued aspect of childcare.
I have Red Cross first aid, CPR, and water safety certifications, as well as an in-progress university degree in English and Elementary Education. In 2022, I left the States to au pair across the world. So far, I've been an au pair in Stockholm, Sweden and Tokyo, Japan!
I am currently a nanny in Tokyo for a wonderful family, therefore I have experience with working with children of ESL, as well as teaching English in a fully immersive environment!
I love working with all children, but I have the most professional experience with children between infancy and 6 years old.
I have always had an interest in Norway and Norwegian culture since my teenage years. It's a dream of mine to travel to Norway and experience a totally different culture from mine, while also providing peak care to families and children who are looking for a committed au pair. Being American, my native language is English, and I'd be happy to speak exclusively to your child in English to ensure their full immersion.
