Dear Host Family,
My name is Tracy, I am 22 years old and from Ghana. I would describe myself as kind, calm, respectful, soft-hearted, and responsible, and I truly enjoy creating a warm and peaceful environment.
I genuinely love children and believe they are some of the sweetest beings on the planet. To me, being part of a child’s life is a privilege. I am gentle, playful, patient, and caring, and I enjoy keeping children engaged, happy, and creatively active. I also help them express their feelings, dream boldly, and believe in themselves.
I have childcare experience through teaching, helping my sister care for my niece while she was in school, supporting my younger siblings, and looking after children when parents were unavailable. Through these experiences, I have learned to be attentive, understanding, dependable, and calm even in challenging situations.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, making crafts, cooking, listening to music, watching movies, and exploring new places. I love sports, especially football, and learning about culture, history, archaeology, and ancient discoveries. I am a creative, hardworking, and open-minded person who enjoys using my imagination to make meaningful things.
I want to become an au pair to continue growing my childcare experience while becoming part of a welcoming family and experiencing a new culture firsthand. I would be happy to share my Ghanaian culture while learning from my host family’s way of life. I also love travelling, and I see being an au pair as a unique opportunity for cultural exchange.
I am trustworthy, reliable, and confident, and I would be honored to become part of a kind host family. After my au pair journey, I hope to further my education and pursue teaching, especially in archaeology, so I can one day share my experiences and knowledge with my future students.
