My name is Lily , I’m 28 years old.
I am British and my native language is English.
However I grew up in Sri Lanka and Cyprus and moved to Cyrpus in 2018.
I have years of experience with both children and babies. Iv worked for 6 different families, being a private nanny working with children between the age of 2-6 and new born babies.
I have also worked with children under the age of 5 in schools and as a kindergarten teacher.
I am First Aid trained.
I am a qualified Horse Riding and water sports instructor, and I am very good swimmer.
I’m energetic, positive and have great understanding of children’s needs along with the practical skills to deal with any situation.
My duties have included:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the baby
- Bathing and dressing
- Nappy changing
- laundry
- Meal prep and cooking
- Arranging playdates and outings
- indoor and outdoor play
- Educational activities and crafts
- Driving the children to nursery, activities and playdates
- Reading to the children
- Helping to organize bedrooms and playroom
- Administering medicine with parents’ consent, if necessary
- Light housekeeping and cleaning
- Implementing lessons using the Early Years Foundation stage as framework
- Weekly observations and recording the progress
- Assisting the development of a child’s personal, social, language and physical abilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with parents
