Dear Parents:
To tell you a little bit about myself I am 39, and I love working with children! Seriously I think my love of children came from having 4 younger siblings (and I now get to spoil my 4 beautiful nieces and 6 handsome nephews!!!). I have been officially babysitting for others since I was 8 years old, it was also around that same time that I started working in the different children's church ministries.

I've worked with children from all stages and walks of life. Infant to High School and all of the fun in-between. In high school I was a student teacher for our 1st grade class, from there I have worked for day cares as both lead teacher and assistant teacher, for a Pediatrician's office as a medical assistant and office coordinator, as a nanny multiple times, and so much more!

I love being a nanny/babysitter because you get to spend one-on-one quality time with the children. You can interact and develop a schedule/plan that works for each individual child, instead of en mass. I love making children laugh and giggle, and have fun playing and exploring! I also love to encourage them to be independent and learn that with hard work and perseverance they can overcome most obstacles. I left the nanny field to go back to college. I had thought that I could merge my love of children and my like for office work by working in a Pediatrician's office, which I had done for more almost 3 years up until March of 2011. While I loved it and loved my kids, it just wasn't the same.

I am grateful for the experience and for all of the knowledge I gained, but I'm looking forward to finding a loving family to work for, again.
I also wanted to let you know that both my CPR and First Aid certificates have both been renewed this month (July 2021) and that I do keep them both current. I have recently completed another background check, but have no qualms about doing another as well.

Family #4 - 2 children, ages 2,5 for 6 months - live-in/out - OH/Puerto Rico
Family #5 - 1 child, age 3, for 4 months, live-in, NJ (2006)
Family #6 - 2 children, ages 7, 9 for 8 months, live-in/out - OH
Family #7 - 1 child, age 3 for 7 months, live-out, OH
Family #8 - 2 children ages 15 months, 3 for 8 months - live-in, OH
Family #8 - 2 children ages 2, 4, for 9 months - live-in, OH
Family #8 - 4 children ages 3 months, 20 months, 8, 10 for 4 months - live-in, OH (ended in December 2020)

*As you can see most of my nanny jobs have been short stints, but I am open to working for longer periods. I worked for Family #8 on 3 different occasions, and Families 4, 6, and 7 all wanted to for me to return after breaks (their own needs), but I needed to continue working during those times so I had to move forward on my own. So, I am flexible and open to working through what the families needs are.
