I began nannying professionally in 2018 and have since built an extensive career working with children ranging from two weeks old through seventeen years old. Over the years I have had the privilege of working with twins, triplets, and sibling groups of up to four and five children simultaneously, managing multiple children across varying developmental stages with patience, organization, and genuine joy.
My experience spans a wide range of roles and responsibilities. I have served as a full-time nanny, governess, private educator, house manager, travel nanny, overnight nanny, and mother's helper across numerous private households. I hold an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education and am currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I am also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified for both children and adults.
As a private educator and governess I have designed and implemented individualized learning plans, bilingual curricula, and Montessori-inspired routines tailored to each child's developmental stage and learning style. I have supported children with ADHD, autism, speech delays, and other neurodiverse needs in close collaboration with therapists and educators, and have worked with families navigating homeschool environments in a lead capacity.
My household management experience includes preparing meals for entire families, managing grocery ordering and meal planning, preparing bottles with breast milk and formula, children's laundry, playroom and home organization, and coordinating schedules across multiple households and school districts. I have extensive experience with transportation to and from school, activities, appointments, and airports — as well as traveling domestically with families, including a two consecutive week live-in stay while a family celebrated the holidays on vacation.
I also spent years coaching gymnastics, teaching parent and tot classes, preschool, recreational, and competitive levels — which deepened my understanding of child development, physical confidence, and working with groups of children of varying ages and abilities.
Kids are truly my passion and that hasn't faltered over the years. This time in their life is the most crucial for building long-lasting, stable, and meaningful connections. It's important for children to know that people outside their family genuinely care for them — not out of obligation but out of love.
Every family I have worked with has become extended family to me. This is not just a means of work — these families have become people who support and care for me as I do for them, and I hope every family I work with in the future feels the same way.
Friends describe me as hardworking, determined, kind, caring, thoughtful, and assertive — also funny, outgoing, open-minded, and empathetic. Past families would describe me as a self-starter and deeply intuitive. I notice when a parent is running around and hasn't stopped to drink water — so I bring them a glass. If I hear a child calling for their parent and I know that parent is busy or overwhelmed, I will get what the child needs and let the parent know I handled it. I take note of parent and child behavior patterns and look for early signs so I can intervene and keep things mellow before they escalate. I am the extra set of hands, and I genuinely love helping things run smoothly.
