Housekeeper/Pet Sitter in half to full time assignment
We are currently seeking a housekeeper for approximately 20 hours per week. The role is unique in that we require someone who can also stay in our house (which is located 15 minutes away from Faro) during our absence to take care of our beloved dogs. As such, we need someone who is highly flexible.
Your regular duties will include a range of household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, watering plants, shopping, and running errands.
You have a professional knowledge how to best clean certain materials and surfaces and experience with cleaning big houses.
You don't mind following a cleaning plan and always aim to complete the certain tasks in a time effective manner and order.
As we are often working from home, we will often be present during your work hours.
Occasionally, we may also ask for some assistance with cooking.
In essence, we are looking for someone who can lend a helping hand with anything that comes up in our daily lives.
It would be a benefit if you are well connected to certain handymen such as plumbers, electricians, gardeners, painters, tailors, laundry etc...
When we travel (which can be up to 7 or sometimes even 14 days per month), we will require you to stay in our house overnight and take care of our three dogs. During the holiday season, we may also have 2-3 children at home.
It is essential that you speak English and have access to a car and a drivers licence.
Experience with animal care, specifically with dogs, is necessary.
A professional education in housekeeping would be highly appreciated, and we will require good references.
We are seeking a highly self-driven, self-motivated, very organised and professional individual who is physically fit and able to handle the demands of this role.
