We are a private household in Brussels seeking an experienced housekeeper with cooking skills to manage the daily running of the home. This is a long-term position for a reliable, discreet, and organized professional.

Main Responsibilities

Housekeeping (Advanced / Professional level required)
• Daily and deep cleaning of the home to a high standard
• Laundry care: washing, ironing, folding, wardrobe organization
• Bed making and linen care
• Organization of closets, cupboards, and storage areas
• Maintaining cleanliness and order at all times
• Correct use and care of household appliances and equipment

Cooking (Intermediate to Advanced level required)
• Preparation of simple, healthy, home-style meals
• Ability to follow preferences and dietary guidelines
• Meal planning and basic grocery list preparation
• Keeping kitchen clean, organized, and hygienic

Household Management (Basic to Intermediate)
• Light grocery shopping or errands when requested
• Monitoring household supplies and informing when restocking is needed
• Respecting privacy, discretion, and household routines

Requirements
• Proven experience working in private homes as a housekeeper (and cook)
• Trustworthy, discreet, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable using household cleaning equipment (provided)
• EU passport or valid authorization to work in Belgium
• References required
• Languages: English required; French is a plus
