Dear host family,


First of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter. With this letter I would like to bring you closer to my life. I will try as best as possible to describe my life here, my wishes and dreams, my family and of course myself.


My name is Jayvee Anne. I am 26 years old and from the small city of Taal Batangas in the Philippines. With my parents, Camilo and Dory. I am living in a house that is located in an area with an active volcano within a lake and a town full of Spanish era thing. We have three dogs whom we cuddle all day. My father works as a foreman and my mother works abroad for 16years now. I have two older brothers and one older sister, Im the youngest of four. Overall, we are a pretty large family, I have almost have 20cousins lol.


I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I love to cook and willing to learn other cuisine as well. I worked as a customer service representative for an american telco company before and I do have 6 yrs paid experience being a nanny and housekeeper as well. At the moment, I work as a dc officer for a logistic company. I enjoy this job very much, but I still can't erase at the back of my mind my biggest dream. I am always interested with people, they're cultures and how they live at the other side of the world. And being an au pair, I can work and experience other people's culture and that is really amazing.


I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me. I expect that in the first couple of days I will be exhausted at night because I guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you. Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have to follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things. I have never been out of the country yet but I am used to not seeing my family cuz I work away from home.


I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
