?My name is Heide , born on 10th of August 1993, I currently live here in Austria as an aupair also for 1year and I'm from Philippines . I'm a former student in caregiving courses at San. Pablo Colleges in Laguna, Philippines. We are 7 in the family; My parents, Mercy Manalo and Honorio , are self employed and run a small Pineapple Farm business. I have 1 sister and 3 brothers. My eldest brother Norman, is 23 years old and he is an Office staff in Riyadh Saudi Arabia and he is graduated as Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at AMA University. My two other brothers Merwin ,18 years old and Darwin 9 years old, are still completing their education in primary and secondary school. My youngest sister Camille, is 16 years old and taking a course of Industrial Engineering at Batangas State University. My first language, of course, Tagalog/Filipino.but i also speak very well English and I have a basic knowledge of German language. I learned English in primary school and enhanced when i was in secondary school and I learned A little German because im attending a German course here in Austria. I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. I feel that a cultural immersion would do me a lot of good . I am particularly interested in experiencing lifestyle in European country . since it offers a cultural context that is undoubtedly different from ours. It would be great also to know about Other country's culture, lifestyle and language. When it comes to childcare experience. I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. As part of my Caregiving Course studies in childcare, i spent 5days on duty in a children's home in Sanblo Laguna., Philippines Most of the children's in their are very special and need a special cares , despite of that, i really much learned how to relate and interact with them, with the short period of my duty. I also work as a babysitter for 6 months, as part of my job i took part in recreational indoors and outdoors activities. We played games, danced, sang, drew, colored in coloring books and read educational books. We also went out to visit historical places here in the Philippines. Since I'm working as an aupair right now I experienced everything here in Austria , I love my host family they are so very nice. I took 2childrens Lukas 1 year old and Leon 13. We go outdoors and played. I took also Jenny our dog . Although i'm not the bread winner of our family, i helped my parents look after my brothers and sister since my eldest brother worked abroad. At my young age (16 years old), i started to worked to help my family and siblings financially. As a teenager, i was nevertheless much more involved in caring for them on a daily basis. In addition, my 3 younger siblings, also spend a lot of time playing with our neighbors and relatives. So from time to time i find myself in their ever animated company. I can comfortably say that i sincerely enjoys spending time with children. When it comes to leisure, i take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoys being outdoors, being with my friends and classmates, going to the church with my family, eating a lot of delicious foods in different restaurant/food chain, visiting historical places and going to the places with the beautiful views. I also enjoy singing because it is my talent. I especially enjoy calculating/calculation why do i love Mathematics. At my primary and secondary i was always on honorole, and awarded best in Mathematics,history and basic accounting. I also served as a presconference committee member for the school news paper, and i'm primary youth councilor of our municipality. As far as preferences are concerned, i'm looking for a live in arrangement with the host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them . I would also prefer looking for a children and to have working hours that allow me to attend their language course. I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you; to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experience; to learn more about your family, your interests and to know more about you expect from the Au Pair Arrangement.
