We are a family based in Toyama, Japan, looking for a warm, caring, and experienced nanny to help us care for our newborn baby. We speak Russian at home and would like our child to be cared for in a familiar language environment. We are open to both short-term contracts (3 months) and long-term contracts (1 year), depending on the candidate’s availability and our mutual comfort.

Position Details
Location: Toyama, Japan
Contract Length: 3 months OR 1 year (to be agreed upon)
Language Requirements: Fluent Russian (English or Japanese is a plus)
Travel Expenses: Round-trip airfare covered for the right candidate
Visa: Assistance with visa process provided (Temporary Visitor Visa or other suitable permit)

Key Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care to our newborn, ensuring safety and well-being at all times
- Assist with feeding (bottle-feeding, sterilizing bottles, supporting breastfeeding routines)
- Change diapers, bathe the baby, and maintain good hygiene
- Put the baby to sleep and support healthy sleep routines
- Engage in gentle developmental activities suitable for a newborn (singing, talking, sensory stimulation)
- Monitor baby's health and promptly communicate any concerns to parents
- Keep the baby's room, clothes, and toys clean and organized
- Occasionally help with light household tasks related to the baby (laundry, meal preparation for baby)


Schedule
- Approximately 40 hours per week (flexible schedule to be discussed)
- Two days off per week (may vary depending on family needs)
- Some flexibility may be required for evenings or nights if the baby needs extra care


Requirements
- Proven experience caring for newborns (references required)
- Understanding of infant development and safety procedures
- Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor
- Non-smoker
- Good physical health and ability to care for a newborn
- Valid passport and willingness to travel to Japan
- Previous international experience is a plus, but not required
