Hi there! My name is Phia, I am an American from Chicago, IL. I originally came to Spain to get my TEFL Certification to teach English, and received it 2 weeks ago. I am now looking for more opportunities outside of regular in-classroom teaching and more opportunities to work with children. I am the oldest sister of 5 kids with a working Dad and absent Mom, so I have been babysitting and taking care of children for my entire life. I have been trusted with very young children, children with health conditions, and even large groups of children (25+) to keep them safe, healthy, and entertained. I am very good at bonding with children and pets (dogs especially). I live by the motto of leaving a place better than I found it, so I make sure to clean up after myself/the children if we make a mess during an activity. I know how important your children are to you and make their safety and well-being my top priority when watching over them. I am very flexible in terms of what kind of care and where I will be doing it. I have my American drivers license, but not an international DL, so unfortunately I won't be able to drive, but I am very comfortable with the metro and/or walking throughout the city. I like to get to know the family I am working with so I would love to talk with you further about your wants and needs for care, and we can see if we are a good match!
