Dear Host Family,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Geneva, and I am truly excited about the possibility of joining your family as an Au Pair. I am writing to share a little about myself, my hobbies, and my aspirations, and to express how much I am looking forward to becoming a part of your family life.

I am from the Philippines where I grew up in Batangas, a place known for its Black Coffee. From a young age, I developed a passion for cooking, which has taught me to cook a different kind of dishes. Because of this, I joined an organization that gives free food to those homeless children. I am happy that I was able to share the food that I love to cook. I also enjoy playing with my dogs, which I find especially rewarding because they are my happy pill. These activities have not only shaped my personal interests but have also equipped me with the patience, creativity, and energy needed to engage and entertain children.

In addition to my hobbies, I am very interested in learning new languages and exploring different cultures, which is one of the reasons why I was drawn to the Au Pair program. I am also excited to share my own culture with you and perhaps even prepare some traditional dishes from my home country for you to try!

Looking ahead, I am committed to making a positive impact during my time with your family. I plan to take this experience as a wonderful opportunity to grow personally and professionally, hoping to pursue a career as a Cultural Ambassador or International Relations after my stint as an Au Pair. I believe that the interpersonal skills and cultural awareness I will gain from this experience will be invaluable for my future endeavors.
