Hello, my name is Ammar. I am a 27-year-old physiotherapist from sialkot, Pakistan, and I am looking for a host family in Denmark for a meaningful cultural exchange.
Children have been a natural part of my life. As a physiotherapist, I have worked with paediatric patients during my clinical training — children with cerebral palsy, post-injury rehabilitation, and developmental needs. I have also helped raise numbers younger siblings/cousins/nieces and nephews in my extended family, where I learned how to be patient, calm, and gentle while also keeping things fun. I genuinely enjoy children's energy and curiosity, and I'm comfortable with everything from preparing simple meals to homework help, walking to school, playground supervision, and bedtime routines.
Why Denmark? I have been quietly drawn to Danish culture for years — the value placed on family time (hygge), the trust given to children to be independent, the focus on outdoor life and cycling, and the calm rhythm of everyday Danish family life. I have already begun learning Danish on my own and recently received an educational credential assessment from the Danish Patient Safety Authority, which has deepened my connection to your country. I want to spend a year living inside a Danish family, improving my Danish, and contributing meaningfully to your home in return.
About me as a person: I'm honest, punctual, organised, and genuinely warm with children. I don't drink or smoke. I'm comfortable in homes with pets. I cook simple Pakistani and continental dishes and I'd love to learn Danish home cooking from you. I enjoy reading, walking, cycling, and I'm a non-fussy traveller.i will do attentive care for your children; a respectful and tidy guest in your home; help with light housework as part of our agreement; and someone who genuinely wants to be part of your family's everyday life, not just a temporary helper.
