Hi, my name is Elena.
I am Italian but moved to Monaco when I was 9. Once I graduated from high school, at the age of 18, I moved to the Netherlands for my university studies, where I volunteered in a kindergarten. There, I used to help teachers twice a week taking care of 2-3 year olds (mostly international kids). That experience - even though different from babysitting - enhanced my nurturing skills and my understanding of kids. I am now back in Monaco for some time, and I was looking for a part-time babysitting job that could bring me joy and fulfil my interest for kids. This interest of mine grew over time, and it especially increased during my studies. Having a diploma in psychology, I recognise the importance of children’s development as well as the importance of meeting their needs (both emotional and physical). Furthermore, I have always loved kids. I think they can teach us (adults) a lot about life: how to keep our curiosity alive, how to live in the present moment, and how to get up even after falling many times. I hope that this short introduction about myself and my story can help you get an idea of the person I am and what I stand for.
