Dear family
My name is Oleksandra, I'm 23 years old.
I used to live and study in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Now I’m in Tokyo, Japan studying japanese language and culture.
There are 4 people in my family, including my father, my mother, younger brother and me.
My parents are very kind and understanding. My mother is kind and intelligent, she works as an accountant. My father is serious and very gentle, he works as an engineer. The younger brother is now studying in the Czech Republic. As a child, when my parents were at work, I helped him with homework and just had fun. They teach me to be friendly, honest and responsible.
Although my parents are very busy, when we have free time, we spend it with the whole family. There is a small forest near our house, and we very often go there for a picnic.

I study Japanese philology and literature, pedagogy and also English.
As a child, I went to art school, and drawing is still my hobby. I like to spend my free time reading or walking in nature.

It is difficult for me to describe my own character, but my friends say that I am hardworking, kind, honest and friendly.

My experience with children is that I have a part-time job - I tutor with children. We teach English and Ukrainian. I have always spent a lot of time with children since childhood. I picked up my younger brother from kindergarten while my parents were at work and did homework with him.
In the summer we went to grandparents village, my brother and I, and our cousins. When it was very hot outside, we all gathered together in the children's room and did summer lessons, and since I was the oldest, I made sure that the children did not indulge and drew their attention to the lessons. In the summer, children want to relax and not study - but I managed to find an approach to each of them, and study turned into an exciting process.

If the host family chooses me, then it will be easier for them to spend their free time and not worry about their children. I lived on my own for 4 years in a student dormitory and got used to living on my own, cooking and cleaning. Also I can look after the children and play with them. Since I worked as a teacher, I could study English with children in a playful way so that it would be interesting and useful for them.

To sum up, meeting new people and getting new experience is very important for me. I believe this time in the Japan will help me in
my future.
