Introduction
I am also certified in CPR and first aid training for pediatric and elderly care. I did some volunteer service at nursing home in my community and Participate in outreach programs for the homeless and needed. I also have done marathon and 5k for hospital needs and giving back to the community. I do cooking, cleaning, picking up children from school, schedule playtime, tutoring and nap time.
I am special, i bring joy and love everywhere i go.I will be a great addition to any family because i love helping and giving back to others.i enjoy working with kids and making them feel welcome, loved and happy. I know I will be surrounded by a family of excitable children, who are all eager about enjoying their nanny/Babysitter time while i will be eager to getting to know them and sharing my culture as well.i have the energy, creative, initiative and patience to keep up with these children /toddlers.
As you I been doing care aid for over 7 years and I love it. In Covid it was mostly overnight care along with day care ages as 2month old to 14 years of age. I had to get assistant help but I never regretted it. I volunteer in homes here as well as home visit and the experience is different each day because each day I would learn new ways and strategies to attack a situation. I like to go by the three Cs—meaning, I always try to remain cool, calm, and collected. Of course, some situations can be tougher than others. But I think encouragement and open communication often help. For instance, I remember a senior patient I had who refused to take a shower. His bathing schedule was in the morning, so I wondered if he'd prefer to bathe at another time of day. Turned out that changing the schedule to late afternoons before dinner was more acceptable for him. I'd take a similar approach to meal or medication issues—emphasizing a sense of understanding to work out a solution.”
As an assistance teacher at JFFLL, I taught children with special needs children or children with disabilities. Every child is unique In there own way, some just take a little more patience than some. As an part time teacher in my training year I had to work with other children too, It was great because I got to see children with disabilities be happy in there own way. I had to sit and get to know each child so I could know how to approach them and try to find tools and strategies to help them In their learning world. There was one child with Transience, this is where they lose memory over a period of time. She was a brilliant girl and always smiling, so could read and write but after an hour or so she totally forget.I had to make flash card with little notes for her to remember and mostly use imagery so it could be easy. Other child in my care had speech and language Impairment she had problem expressing herself or understanding others. I had to go come up with interactive games.
I'm all about positivity, and setting the right mood for interaction is really important. I had an Alzheimer's patient once, and I established a simple daily routine from day one. I found that acceptance, with a bit of kindhearted, positive redirection (when needed),was the best way forward." That was another of my experiences I may be young but I can give you so much experience I had.
I have had family asking to spend the holidays with them just because of child/children I taking care of during the time said they wanted me to be there. I have had the home I volunteer at calling me that family member Oversea want to talk to be cause my patient always talking about me to their family.
