Hey There!

My name is Shondae, Im a 25 year old early childhood educator, nanny/babysitter from the beauty island of Barbados. Barbados is located in the lesser antilles of the Caribbean, most people know Barbados as the birth place of Rum and our beautiful pop star Rihanna. My passion for teaching and having a career working with kids started back when I was a kid, I use to admire my teacher she was an awesome role model. I would come home from school and conduct classes with my invisible students as I grew older I got rid of my insivible friends but my dreams didnt change. I began babysitting for my aunt in 2015 (my last year of high school) and from the day I never stopped. I went on to study Early Childhood Education and I'm to report that I was successful in my studies. I enjoying traveling, I love learninng about different cultures, trying new foods, learning about different religions, etc. I'm a girly girl which means, I love medi-pedis, I love getting my lashes done and following up on the lastest beauty tips. I'm quiet and reserve but once Im comfortable around you, I promise we can converate about any and everything. Time but family and loved ones are always a fav.

Being from Barbados is a blessing and curse, I say "curse" because the opportunites are limited, hence the reason I'm applying to international jobs. I currently a private nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia but my time with the families is coming to an end, unfortunately. Im hoping to connect with a employer who is willing to give me a chance to show the world what an amazing educator, nanny/babysitter and person I am. I always hear we as people "must use our talents before we lose them" and I certainly dont want to lose mine. Given the opportunity I promise to always apply myself and put my best foot forward.
