I’ve babysat for my cousins and close family friends! I was 15 when I first watched my 5 year old cousin for an afternoon while his mom needed to run a few errands! During that small amount of time I realized that babysitting was something I wanted to become more involved in. A few more afternoon gigs from my cousins and after my 16 birthday I got CPR certified! From then I started to frequently babysit one of my dearest family friends daughter and son from ages 4 and 10! It’s crazy to believe that they are 6 and 12 now! Along with babysitting I’ve also pet sat, house watched, and housekeeping! A very important aspect to me while babysitting is handling the problems that may occur. I always attend with patience and understanding. Resolving the conflict and finding a way to bring peace and laughter into their little worlds. I also strongly believe that being someone a family can trust and rely on that it’s important to create a passionate bond with the children and parents!
