I have many years experience with tending to homes and home duties. I carry a life full of experience, and put children above personal needs. I have a long list of "jack of all trades" beginning at a young age of 17 where I had my own auto detail business and a "maid" service in 2 states. I have been a property manager and then onto motherhood. I also can run a farm and all the equipment on it.I am NOT saying that I want to do that again (LOL)Just saying that I am well versed in many life styles and have a wide range of experience. I can drive any vehicle from car, to motorcycle, bus, wave runner,boats, bush hog, cranes, tractors, or backhoes. The more sticks and buttons the more fun. I look at mowing as a good way to get a tan and not work at all. I can fix and figure just about anything out. salary negotiable but I'm worth way more then you pay for. I am unmarried, and my son, Seth, is grown and living on his own now. I am making myself available to take on the task of anothers family needs at this time. Or to tend to the home tasks of a "too busy" business man or family who cannot keep up alone. I LOVE to cook !!! Making healthy meals is a passion and turn on for me. I have traveled abroad and know that food from other countries is far better then the "American Diet". I love international cuisine, but can cook anything from New England (I was born in Maine) to Southwestern American dishes. I dream of having my own Food Network show. :) My ultimate dream goal is to be someones personal chef. Yet, I can take care of a home as easy as dressing and am very "cultured". I have an ever learning character but am not a know it all. I have lived in ME, NY, grew up in Chicagoland, NC, AZ, AR, OK, CA, and FL. I am working on several writing projects at this time, and write at my computer in every free or available minute. I write daily devotionals. A "thought for the day" kinda gal.
I clean up wonderfully, but am a tomboy at heart. I love wave running and motorcycles. I love to hike and have been known to climb a few trees here and there.
I look at divorce as a tragedy and beam like a flare with those suffering from it. I look at marriage as the single most important institution on earth and plant seeds of love in the presence of any couple.
I am educated and have been a teacher, counselor, and administrator for a charter school teaching grades 5th through 12th. However, young pre K and little ones are my joy. I have worked with ADHD and ADD and "at risk" children and students. I worked with students and parents on every level of school life and extra curricular activities. I have served actively in church as a Praise Singer and walk upright, frank, honest and transparent. If you don't like to hear singing, then you probably won't enjoy me. I have lived many lifestyles and can adapt easily to most any situation. At one time I tended to 13 children at a Retreat Center in North Carolina (where I am currently) and that duty lasted several years. It was a blast!!! 5 of the children were in diapers and the oldest was 8. The staff (parents) were not that far out of reach when needed but, can't recall ever needing them. (smiles) Years later, I returned to the Center to work on staff once more, and some of the same kids were there all grown up in their teen years (it was GREAT to be remembered). I headed up a home school program while they served on a traveling musical drama team which prevented them from attending public school. I play with children and love video games and board games. I have a "child heart". I truly love helping with homework and can be of great service to any family. However, I love cooking. I prefer my duties to include making healthy meals for a working family so that something of great value is waiting when the family finally makes it home together.
