We are a warm, international family living in Leiria, Portugal. We have two little boys: a newborn baby and a toddler who is about to turn 2. We are in a tender and busy season of becoming a family of four.

Our toddler is bright, affectionate, funny, curious, and very connected to us. He loves engagement, outdoor time, stories, play, and being included in family life. He is also adjusting to having a new baby brother, so he needs steady adults who can offer warmth, patience, and clear limits when he is tired or overwhelmed.

Our newborn is exclusively breastfed, so the mother will usually handle feeds. We are looking for someone who can support the rhythm of the household around that: helping our toddler feel cared for, holding or watching the baby briefly when needed, helping with meals/snacks, diapers, play, rest routines, and light cleanup.

We value respectful, emotionally attuned caregiving. We do not need someone loud or overly entertaining; we need someone calm, kind, practical, mature, and reliable. Someone who can enjoy small children, stay steady during toddler big feelings, and help our home feel more peaceful.

The most important help we need is reliable morning support, including weekends. We are open to live-in or live-out for the right person, and we hope to find someone who can become a trusted presence in our family for many months.

The mother is exclusively breastfeeding, so bottle-feeding is not needed. We need help mainly with toddler care, infant support while mother is present, diapers, toddler meals/snacks, outdoor play, nap/rest routine support, toy cleanup, and light kitchen cleanup after meals.

Our greatest need is reliable morning support, including weekends, because one parent has significant sleep difficulties and the mother is recovering postpartum while exclusively breastfeeding. We may also need some afternoon support, especially around toddler nap/rest time and late-day household reset.

Our toddler is loving, bright, affectionate, and very connected to the family, but he is adjusting to becoming a big brother and can become dysregulated when tired or when naps are refused. We need someone calm, warm, mature, reliable, and confident with gentle but firm limits.

The ideal candidate has strong paid experience with infants and toddlers, especially siblings close in age, and is comfortable supporting a household during the intense early years. We are looking for someone practical, emotionally steady, and able to help create rhythm and calm in the day.

Duties may include toddler play, outdoor walks, snacks/meals, diapers, helping with nap/rest routines, holding or watching the baby briefly while mother showers/eats/rests, and light child-related cleanup such as toys, dishes after meals, and kitchen reset.
