We are a laid-back and welcoming family, rooted in Norwegian culture. Our children are bilingual, fluent in both Norwegian and English, and they are accustomed to interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Although we reside just a 10-minute train ride away from Oslo, our home is peacefully situated in the tranquil countryside. Our property features a spacious house with an expansive garden, but it is somewhat secluded, making transportation by car necessary for getting around.
Your living quarters will include a modern, private bathroom and a generously-sized, quiet bedroom with its own entrance hall. Your room will come furnished with a television, a personal computer, and a stereo system. Additionally, we will provide you with a complimentary cell phone for the duration of your stay in Norway.
If you possess a valid driving license, you will also have the option of using a dedicated car for your transportation needs. During your time with us, you will be considered and treated as an integral member of our family.

Childcare Provider/Au Pair Sought for Family with Two Energetic Children
We are in search of a dedicated and honest childcare provider to join our family, comprised of a 5-year-old girl and a 8-year-old boy. Our children are lively and engaging, necessitating a caregiver who can actively participate in their daily activities.

Both children are well-adjusted to a multicultural setting and are bilingual, speaking both Norwegian and English. Special attention is required for our son.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- High ethical standards and the ability to form emotional bonds with children
- Willingness to engage in meaningful activities and assist with reading and writing tasks
- Reliability, maturity, and a sense of responsibility towards the family
- Commitment to work with our family for a two-year period
- Must be under the age of 30, in compliance with Norwegian Au Pair Visa regulations
- Domestic responsibilities include cleaning up after the children, organizing their clothes, meal preparation, and laundry. Maintaining your own living space is also expected.

Work Schedule:
- The children will attend kindergarten and school during weekdays
- Work commitment is on a bi-weekly basis
- Five weeks of unpaid leave per year; airfare for home visits will be covered
Preferences:
- Candidates with prior experience in teaching or other caregiving roles will be given priority
- A driving license is considered a plus but is not mandatory
