Hello! We are a single-child family with a one-year-old son looking for a nanny or au pair to relocate to beautiful Telluride, CO with us for the duration of a 3-year work project. One parent will work from home during this time but will not plan to be involved in the daily child-care routine during work hours. We will likely not travel internationally during this time, but fully plan to make the most of what Telluride and the surrounding area has to offer for outdoor activities - skiing, biking, hiking, climbing, etc. - and will likely make trips to nearby destinations such as Moab. We are looking for a nanny for our 1-year-old son for the term of a multi-year work project in Telluride, CO. One parent will work from home during this time. Primary duties would include daily activities, nap time, lunch/snack prep and feedings, and other general daily care for our son. Typical hours would be in the M-F 7 AM - 4 PM range with preference for some flexibility, particularly for a live-in placement. We have a friendly 65-lb dog. Interactions will be required, minor pet care or occasional pet sitting would be preferred. Our family currently resides in Iowa and will be moving to Telluride between July and September 2025 based on work constraints outside of our control. We can be flexible on the start date but it would need to be no later than September 2025, option to join our family in Iowa prior to the move. We are open to live-out options but a major benefit would be provided housing in a ski town and time to experience outdoor activities in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, either with our family or on personal time. We mountain bike, climb, hike, and ski, and ideal candidates would share a love of these activities or the general outdoors. We are open to negotiating salary based on experience and other factors, and payments can be made weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. While we do have set financial limits, we are looking for the best fit for our family, not the cheapest option.
