Family's Introduction to Au Pair
I’m originally from Philadelphia and my wife is originally from Brazil and lived in Philadelphia area for the past 18 years. Then in 2019 my wife moved here to Maryland when we got married since I was already living here. We come from diverse backgrounds and a very easy-going family. My wife is a stay home. Mom is looking for someone to help her throughout the day into the early evening hours to help take care of our one and a half year-old along with doing some basic housekeeping and sometimes cooking. We’re basically looking for an assistant to the family. Our primary language we speak English, but I understand Portuguese and my wife speaks fluent Portuguese.
Job Description
Hi! We are a small family that lives in Bel Air, Maryland. We have two small kids. We have a nine-year-old daughter and a one and a half-year-old daughter. We primarily need help taking care of our one and a half-year-old daughter along with cooking, basic household chores, and also running errands like going to the supermarket, etc. We’re looking for a full-time position to help preferably somebody that speaks Portuguese and preferably somebody knows how to cook Brazilian food. My parents are originally from India, but I was born here in the US, and my wife is originally from Brazil and has been living here for 24 years. We speak English and Portuguese in the house. We are looking for someone who can help with all this stuff, preferably somebody who has their own car (however it’s not that important) and looking for a full-time position willing to pay a good salary!
