Dear Host Family,

My name is Alyssa, and I am currently a Grade 2 teacher based in the United Arab Emirates. I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and to be part of your family while supporting your children’s growth and daily routines.

I have professional experience working with young children aged 6 to 8, where I manage a classroom environment that is safe, structured, and engaging. My role includes planning and delivering lessons in subjects such as English and Math, supporting different learning needs, and guiding children in both their academic and personal development. Through this experience, I have developed strong patience, responsibility, and the ability to understand each child’s unique personality.

In addition to teaching, I also conduct group tutoring sessions. This has helped me build skills in managing multiple children at once, ensuring that each child receives attention while keeping activities fun and organized. I assist with homework, reading, and basic academic skills, and I always aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable and confident.

Beyond academics, I truly enjoy spending time with children through creative and meaningful activities such as storytelling, simple games, and interactive learning. I also understand the importance of routines, responsibility, and maintaining a supportive atmosphere at home. I am willing to help with light household tasks related to the children, such as preparing simple meals, organizing their things, and keeping their space tidy.

I would describe myself as patient, caring, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I value respect, kindness, and building a trusting relationship with both children and parents. My goal as an au pair is not only to assist your family but also to become a positive influence in your children’s lives.
