Hello,my name is Shany and I am a friendly, caring and responsible young woman from Uganda. I am excited about becoming an Aupair because I love spending time with children, learning about new cultures and becoming part of a welcoming family. I believe being an Aupair is not just about helping with child care but also building meaningful relationships and creating wonderful memories together. I have experience caring for children through helping my family and looking after my younger siblings for. Over the years,I have learned how important patience, kindness and responsibility are when taking care of children. I enjoy playing games, reading stories, drawing, singing, helping with homework, preparing simple meals, taking chicken for walks or outdoor activities and supporting with their daily routines. My goal is to always make children feel safe, happy and loved while encouraging their creativity and confidence. I describe myself as honest, patient, hardworking, respectful, reliable and open minded. I understand the importance of following family routines and respecting each family's values and privacy. You can count on me to be dependable, organized and committed to doing my best everyday. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, cooking, learning about different cultures, spending time with family and friends and improving my language skills. I look forward to sharing my Uganda culture with my host family while learning about yours. I believe culture exchange is one of the most rewarding parts of being and aupair. I am happy to help with child care and light house work related to the children. I always try to complete my responsibilities with care, a positive attitude and attention to detail.
