Dear Future Host Family
I am by names of Cynthia, 22 years old Rwandan girl living with my family and currently living in Rwanda,I am from a family of six where I am a first born and three other siblings,2 boys and one little girl . I am still in University pursuing Law,speak fluent English and got some knowledge about French and Dutch .
I am a fun loving person,with a happily personality, I am easy to talk to and a good listener. I am eager to learn study and broaden my knowledge. Self-respect and respect to others are also important to me. I like to work with people but am also responsible enough to work on my own after proper training. I love working with children and therefore find it easy to perform volunteer work at Institutions that work with children.
My hobbies are reading, running and playing music instrument like the piano but still a beginner . I often engage in outdoor activities such as hiking.
Children are my inspiration, and I love kids. Most of the time I am left with my younger siblings to take care of when my parents have gone to work .sometimes I help the neighbors with their kids and accompany them to school.seeing kids happy playing is my source of happiness since I am baby favorites.
I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them another reason I want to be your next Au pair is that being an Au pairing will give me the opportunity to live and travel the world since it has been my dream and learn new cultures ,languages, ways of living ,be introduced to new people and that will be some knowledge I will be getting and most of all I will be growing in my vocation of taking care of kids. I am willing to share more about my Rwandan country and to teach the kids more about our Rwandan culture, Rwandan dances, games ,singing and This motivates my interest in your family.
I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
I expect that in the first couple of days I will be exhausted at night because I guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you.
Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
I have never gone abroad but I am used to not seeing either my Dad or my Mom and my siblings at all for more days ,so I don’t think I will become particular homesick.
