Hello! My name is Malik, I am 19 years old. I am studying in business college and I know friends. All of my close people are very interested in this program. They are very happy that I will participate in the Au Pair program. My mom fully supported my decision to become an Au Pair, she also thinks that it is a very good opportunity for me to improve my English and get to know the traditions of another country. I also sent my drawings to art exhibitions.
In my free time, I do oil painting for myself and for my nephew. In summer, I often go to the river to swim; when I was younger, I taught my friends to swim. I love to read and sometimes borrow some of Chekhov's novels from the library. I like to take pictures and walk outdoors, especially in the evening. I like to help my family because I think there is nothing better than seeing them happy. If I am sad, I listen to music and visit my nephew, when I am with him I forget about everything, he makes me happy. When my cousin was pregnant, I stayed at her house and helped her with the baby. My nephew is a very smart girl. There is a playground near their house with letters painted on it, and when we went there, he would show me the letters he already knew and ask about the unfamiliar ones. He loved it when I drew his name and his parents' names in the album, we learned the letters that were there.
We were told about the Au Pair program in college, but at that time I had no experience working with children, and recently I remembered about this program and wanted to take part in it.
I learned English at school and college, but I realize that such knowledge is not enough and I need practice as well.
I have always wanted to travel to all corners of the world, as it is very interesting for me to learn the traditions of another country.
I think I can become an Au Pair because I am a very responsible person and I am not afraid of difficulties.
