Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
My name is Mary Grace, you can also call me 'Grace', and I am 24 years old. You surely get a lot of these letters from prospective Au Pairs, but rest assured, you will not regret reading about my reasons why I want to become your Au Pair.
I am currently located in Bohol, Philippines, and recently graduated my college years last year 2022, taking up BS- Electrical Technology.
I have 8 siblings, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. My parents are my inspiration, they taught us how to become a good and kind person. They always told us to respect others no matter who they were. Being respectful is a big part of me,I can never forget that, because if I want to be respected, I respect other people to treat them the way I want to be treated, even if I think that I 'm not going to receive it back, and if I don 't, it shows that I 'm the bigger person. I guess that showing gratitude was one of the first things that my parents showed me when I was younger.
In my spare time, I like to play instruments, like guitar and keyboard.
I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
I expect that in the first couple of days I will be exhausted at night because I guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you.
Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
