Dear Host Family
First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
My name is Judy and I am 26 years old. You surely get a lot of these letters from prospective Au pairs, but rest assured, you will not regret reading about my reasons why I want to become your Au Pair.

I am currently living with my mother, my PWD( Person with a disability) brother, my father, and my 3 pets in Olongapo City Philippines, I graduated with a bachelor of secondary education. At the age of 26, my dream is to work abroad and support my family in their financial needs even though I have another brother who works abroad still I want to help my family. I am currently unemployed because I am waiting for my public school career, but until now I am still waiting for the result. And I think why not try to explore new job opportunities like an au pair or a tutor/ nanny? I think my past experiences as a teacher for almost 3 years can benefit this kind of work because I handled kids and I love kids. I can be his/her role model when it comes to values and I can help them in their educational improvement. Maybe this is my advantage. Also, I can use this opportunity to explore new knowledge, know their own culture, and share my own culture with them.

In my spare time, I helped my nephew do their homework creating fun educational activities that could help them improve. Also, I have a part-time tutor to guide them in their homework creating a strategy for some school activities like arts, painting, reading a story, writing, and counting for math. I also have hobbies I love reading, especially Children's stories one of my favorite authors is Antoine De Saint Exupery the author of “The Little Prince” Also during my spare time I play with my fur baby her name is Lucky she is very adorable and loving dog for me.

This opportunity may be a key for me to improve I would love to become a part of your humble family because I am a teacher I love children and I enjoy spending time with them and sharing my knowledge with them as a teacher or as her nanny tutor. I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister to your children comes with the biggest responsibility for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
Living with me is easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have to follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
