Dear future host family,
I'm James Arthur, 25 years old, and I live in the Philippines, surrounded by good people. When I was
a baby, my mother left me with my grandparents because she would work abroad, and my father
would take care of my five siblings. Growing up, I was with my grandparents, and I still assure you
that I have a good relationship with my parents and siblings, even if we are apart. I am gay, and I
think that makes me special because I can do what men and women can do, like doing household
chores and having a strong personality. I am a jolly, energetic, optimistic, trustworthy, and caring
person. I really love cats, dancing, swimming, and hiking.
Dealing with children, teenagers, and parents is not new to me. I have been a teacher here in the
Philippines for almost 5 years, so I am an exemplar when it comes to collaboration skills,
communication skills, patience, creativity, and being well disciplined when it comes to organizing
things and cleaning environments.
It is really my dream to live in Europe and experience their culture. I believe this program is the
easiest and safest way to fulfill my dream, and I know that this program will help me grow. I'm so
excited to bring joy and love to Europe.
