Dear future host family,
My name is Joan Calimutan. I am 25 years old currently living in Upper Bonbon, Loboc, Bohol, Philippines. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at Bohol Island State University last March 2018. At the moment I would like to take some time to have a different life experience. I like spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting.
I come from a family of 10. My mother Leonora, a housewife. My late father Amado Sr. a farmer. I have two brothers and 5 sisters. My eldest sister Angelie, 41 years old who is in Malaysia working as a domestic helper. My sister Joy, Elizabeth, Jenalyn, Jessa and my two brothers Amado Jr. who have their own family and my brother Joseph who is in Saudi Arabia. My sister Angelie and Elizabeth have experienced being an aupair before.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children ages between six months up to 12 years old. I experience assisting my sister giving birth. I love taking care of young children it makes me sweet, productive and calm. I organized for them and took part recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we played games , we sang, we danced and narrated stories. Playing is art of learning which it gives me so much fulfilment. Sometimes I will be the one who send them to school. We went out also on picnics and swimming. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children. I can also do household chores like do the dishes ,laundry, ironing,tidying the clothes and deep cleaning. I am also good at organizing things. I am responsible and reliable person when it comes to duties.
