Dear future host family,
Hi! I am Erica, 22 years old, single and I am from the “Pearl of the Orient”, Philippines! My biological parents are Mr. Cleto a carpenter and a very patient and loving father; and Mrs. Rowena a housewife and a very protective and supportive mom. I have a lot of experience with kids. Although I have 3 younger siblings and I was the one who’s always there to help my mom look after them. I have lot of younger cousins, in which I spend time with them to relieve my stress. Currently I have 10 godchildren that I am really close with because I love to cuddle and play with kids. I am the 3rd eldest and is in charge of household chores and other house responsibilities since that my older sister and brother are now separate with us, so that all the house responsibilities are on my shoulder. And also, I am a Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management and I also finished my Degree with Latin Honors. I have been active at many organizations and excel well in leadership and I love participating recreational activities. I also love travelling and meeting different people because this is the way that I can enhance my interpersonal skills. I also had an experienced about housekeeping, server and a receptionist in a known hotel in our province. I can easily adopt and learn new things. I am responsible, patient, and hardworking.
I am a candidate as an Au Pair and looking for a host family. Grabbing the chance, at the same time it will be a very great opportunity for me gaining new knowledge, exchanging cultures, languages, meet new people and most especially explore new places since it is on top and the most favorite of my hobbies. I have few of my friends who are now already in Europe enjoying this Au Pair program and that it really motivated me not to lose hope. If the opportunity comes, I would be very happy to spend my time with you my future host family, and I will be very excited to teach you our different cultures here in the Philippines, cook you our famous and remarkable Filipino dishes, share with you our pride-the different tourist spots that many foreigner friends keep on visiting by. I can’t also wait to learn from you and your culture, adopt to it and enjoy your place and of course staying and bonding with you. I do hope that there are still a chance for us aspiring aupairs who are still here in the Philippines to enjoy and experience this Au Pair Program. It would mean a lot of us, especially to me.
