I am Ivy Grace, and you can call me by my nickname “Apple” or “Ivy”. I’m 30 years of age, a Filipino citizen and currently living here in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. I finished my college degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University. I earned 18 units of Education subjects In Brokenshire College of General Santos City. Currently, I am working as an branch acoountant at Hope Microfinance Inc. for almost 6 months. And, during weekends I spend time with my 2 Niece and 2 Nephew.

I am a petite woman who is interested in exploring and discovering the beauty of the wonderful creations in the Earth where I want to capture of all those and I am looking forward to meet people with different personalities whom I can learn through them. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks and visiting places I have not been to, I also enjoy listening to music while doing some reflections. Furthermore, I am a member of a Christian organization called Youth For Christ. I served the organization for almost 6yrs.

I come from a family of 5: My parents, Lucrecia and Joselito, are employed in a coop and have some livestock business here in Isulan. I have 2 brothers. My eldest brother Robert John is a 31 year old seaferer. My 2nd Brother Ian Quinn is also a seaferer and he has a 7 yr old girl, a 5 years old Boy, and a 2 yr old baby boy.

Why I want to be an au pair? Simply, because I do love children. I like to care for them, to play with them and to see how they are growing up. And, I like to give my knowledge to children, to teach them the difference between good and bad, not only to teach them new things but also to bring up a child as a well-being person. Also, this opportunity will give me the chance to be part of children’s childhood life and I believe that I will learn a lot from them as they will learn something from me. Moreover, it is always a great dream of mine to live and work in Europe and I am really hoping that this dream will become a reality. And, I think the au pair program is a great opportunity to learn everything about Europe and to be an au pair is to influence and be influenced—nothing more!
