Dear host family,

My name is Erica, 23 years of age, an adventurous and reliable au pair from the Philippines. I’m currently a full time auntie right now, I have two nephews age 2 and 16 years old and one niece ages 4 years old. I was the one who taking care of them when their parents are working or not around. I’ve been helping my sisters and cousins when it comes taking a bath, changing their clothes, play with them. I consider myself a jolly, fun person, patient, mature and responsible. I can easily approached and get along with person especially with kids. I am adventurous kind of person in which I love to discover new things. In terms of my hobbies and personal interest, I love, music, reading books, arts and nature. I love traveling, meeting new people and spending times outdoors like hiking. I can ride bicycle very well. I’m a pet love as well, I have two dogs.

I grew up with family full of love and laughter. We are very united, communicative and sociable family. We are 5 in our family, I’m 2nd from the Eldest, I have one sister and one brother. My mother’ own a store and my father’s works as a driver, I have learnt kindness and sociable.

I have a lot of childcare experience because I always been babysitting my sisters child and cousins son. Also, I used to be a housekeeper in our neighborhood wherein I was assigned to clean, do laundry, cook basic meals, and assist the daughter who had a newborn babies. More importantly, I have childcare experience prior to completion of my studies. I am passionate with working with children because I was once a practice teacher during my 12th Grade in public elementary school. I was assigned to observe 25 pupils ages 7 to 10 years old. My responsibility that time is to observe the behavior of kids, teach and assist kids to write, read, sing, dance, learn and engage students to be part of recreational activities. I’m also dedicated in helping out with household chores. Whether it would be playing with kids, cooking basic meals, cleaning or running errands. I am more than willing to lend a hand whenever it is needed. I want to assure you that I am trustworthy and reliable caregiver because I have experiences and skills with childcare services. I understand that you are entrusting me with your precious children and I take this responsibility seriously. I will always prioritize their well being and safety, and I will strive to be a positive model for them. I want to be a contribution’s member of your family and to alleviate some of the burdens that comes from parenting and managing a household.

I want to go the Europe because I want to learn the culture and experience cultural exchange system. I want to experience the weather, and have a chance to learn the language. I love learning new things that includes visiting new. I want to stroll around and catching beautiful scenery of the city. I want to go to the museum and visits markets. I want to try the amazing foods and cafes. I want to learn about your country and lifestyle. I’m adventurous person and I want to discover what is more in life by means of exploring. That’s why au pairing is ideal to me. Specially, I want to have some great memories to look back. I would really love to build memories with my future host family.
