Dear Host Family,

Good day! First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter. With this letter, I would like to bring you closer to my life. I'm Keith Jacklyn, an aspiring Au Pair. I'm 27 years old and currently in the Philippines. I'm an associate graduate in Office and Business Management. My internship was at a hardware company under the Human Resources Department. After my internship, they promoted me to Human Resources Associate last April 2021, which ended in August 2023. I left my previous job because of a personal matter, but they told me if ever I want to go back, I'm still welcome. But traveling abroad will be one of my goals for 2024. That's what I really want to achieve next year. I'm a positive person who always believes that nothing's impossible.

I'm very patient, I like to interact with other people, I love being with kids, I'm a fast learner, and I'm willing to learn new things. I work with great dedication and commitment.

I love walking, biking, organizing things, and playing and doing activities with kids, and I find it rewarding to help them learn and grow. During my free time, I love to visit my friend's house, go to a coffee shop with friends, bond with family, go to the beach, and travel.

I want to be an Au-pair because I want to go out of my comfort zone. I will love to meet new people or families. I love to explore and learn about new foreign cultures, lifestyle, foods, and languages, and I also love being with children, taking care of them, and having fun.

I also want to include my expectations for my host family. I hope they will treat me as part of their family as well. Set a schedule or responsibilities so that I have a guide. Communicate and be open with me about my performance, a caring environment, and give me a rest day to enjoy going outside.

I hope you will give me a chance to prove what I can do as an Au-Pair. Going abroad is one of my dreams. I hope 2024 will be my lucky year.
