My parents used to have a business when we were growing up and it kept them busy most of the time. Because of that, me and my sisters grew up as independent and dependable children, something that we find advantageous. Now I have 2 nieces, a 10-year-old, and a 4-year-old, and we are trying to raise them the same way we were.
