My name is Shane, and I am from the Philippines. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I am excited about the opportunity to become your au pair and be a caring, responsible, and positive addition to your family.

I am a Bachelor’s degree holder in Psychology, which gave me a strong understanding of child development, communication, and emotional well-being. I am also TESOL-certified and hold a CEFR C1 Advanced English certificate. These qualifications, along with my childcare experience, have prepared me to support children’s learning and development in a patient and encouraging way.

I have experience caring for children through my internship in Basic Education, where I worked closely with young learners. I have also taught children internationally as an online English tutor and have cared for my younger nieces, nephews, and cousins. These experiences taught me to be responsible, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s unique personality and needs.

I am a friendly, patient, open-minded, and family-oriented person. I enjoy cooking, traveling, drawing, painting, dancing, swimming, and spending time outdoors. I would love to share these activities with your children while creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them.

For me, being an au pair is about more than childcare. It is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a family’s daily life, learn about Dutch culture, improve my language skills, and share Filipino traditions, values, and kindness with my host family.

I am responsible, respectful, and eager to help with light household tasks related to the children. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with your family and become someone your children can feel comfortable, happy, and safe with.
