I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I hope this letter you will get to know me better.
My name is Mariell 24y.o , I live in Manila Philippines in the beautiful province of Montalban Rodriguez Rizal. I temporarily live with my auntie, (35y.o) who is self-employed. And my parents is away from me since I finished my college degree because I choose to become independent and face the reality. My father, Rolando (53y.o) lumber machine operator, My mother, Maryjane (46) who manage our small business sari-sari store and grilled barbecue and my brother Marvin (27y.o) Work as a Welder in Cagayan de oro ,Kliennt next to me(20y.o)A working student at chow king lived independently. Klister (19y.o) A senior high school student he lived with my parents, Kim (13y.o) the youngest A grade 7 student lived with my parents we may be apart but never in heart.
I live in a URBAN area called Montalban , it’s has a lot of numbers of community of people with different personalities and lifestyles and also religion, there are many schools and hospitals and different churches, malls, market is very close to my place. I would describe myself, I like to meet different people and culture. I am easy going person, positive, proactive efficient and organized which makes me very productive. I believe that I am kind and loving, I put other people’s needs before my own. I am warm and very responsible. I am decent and very polite and God fearing
I have 4000 hours or more of childcare experience, My first took care was my neighbors daughter a 3y.o beautiful baby but now she is 8 now and I was 18y.o that time and next was the new born a bit scary but I really handle until his 1y.o. I also took care of my neighbors son James john and jarred my duties are to give them a bath, feed them, change their diaper and clothes and play with them. I also read some children’s stories to them like the lion king, there favorite story at all time. I also clean up the house when we were done playing and when they nap. I also took care of my workmate daughter she is 12y.o my duties were to feed her, play and tiktok I remind her to take a bathe and to sleep for her afternoon nap. I looked for her for 1 year starting Saturday at 7pm until Sunday, her mother would go to work every Sunday for part time and come back in the evening of 6pm. Looking after these kids was such a joy for me, I wasn’t just their babysitter but I was a big sister and a mom to them, especially Praise. They were my best friends, I didn’t look at taking care of them as a task but as a responsibility. Till now they are very close to me and every time they sees me and leave them they always have tears of their eyes makes my heart melt.
The skills I have to offer as an Au Pair I can communicate in English and willing to learn your language, and I have my good relationship with children and family very creative good swimmer and I have my first aid training experience but no certificate because I forget to claim before I leave my town and can drive bicycle and motor.
I enjoy reading a good books . I like taking walks hanging out with friends. I enjoy going for a swim in falls, pool and beaches in my free time, I enjoy playing tennis volleyball, badminton. I also enjoy watching cartoons and anime
I want to be an Au Pair abroad because it involves two things I am quite fond of travelling and taking care of children so it really is the best of both worlds. The Au Pair program helps me become independent, self-reliant, and confident. I would have the opportunity of learning a new language and experience a different culture.
I want to be an Au Pair because I love children, I find joy in being around children, and I’ve always wanted to be someone’s big sister or having a sister unfortunately, that did not happen to me having a sister in the house however I found an alternative by babysitting and I found joy in that.
