I am Maria Shiela from the Philippines. I am currently working as a primary and secondary teacher for a Catholic educational institution for 15 years. I had so much experiences of dealing with young children ages 5-8 years old in our school since I've handled them as my advisory classes for a decade. I also received trainings and seminars regarding different approaches to educate children and to act for emergencies though I did not get a certificate for first aid or childcare. My years of service in our institution made me more confident and boost my interpersonal and communication skills that deal with problem-solving and practical skills. I am very much willing to undergo trainings regarding this concerns and to cope with the culture of the family that I will serve as well as the culture of the country that I will be part of.
