Dear Host Family, Thank you for making time to read my letter.
My name is Jolina, 25 years of age from Philippines, I'm living alone in the City and my family is in my hometown in Province. We are 6 members of the family and I am and the second child. My mom is 58 years old and she works in canning, my father is 48 years old and he is a welder, I'm a Christian. I took Bachelor of Elementary Education but sadly I haven't finish my study.
During my college days, I am a working student as a nanny. I take good care of my cousins which is the eldest is 3 years old and his younger sister is 1 year old, and my experience being a nanny was amazing. I take them to school, prepare their food, bathed them, sometimes I play games with them. I prepare their clothes and I treat them like my own. After 3 years of being a nanny, I decided to leave them because I am going to work at Jollibee as a crew. I know that the children's parent was sad because I left them but I know that it's for my own good.
Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
I would love to become an au pair because I love kids and I want spending time with them and I want to experience to take care of a child who’s not the same culture as mine. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. I know in my part that it is challenging since it is far from my country but I am so happy and excited to be part of it. I am really curious to hear all about you and your children.
