Dear Host Family,

My name is Christine Angelica Balistoy, and I am from the Philippines. I am a licensed Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer, but beyond my profession, one of the things closest to my heart is spending time with children. I am excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair because it combines two things I deeply value: caring for children and experiencing a new culture while becoming part of a family's daily life.

For almost four years, I have been actively volunteering in our church's children's ministry. Through this experience, I have had the privilege of teaching, guiding, and caring for children of different ages during classes, activities, and special events. This role has taught me patience, responsibility, creativity, and the importance of creating a safe and encouraging environment where children can feel valued and supported.

My love for children extends beyond church activities. Whether in my community, among relatives, or even during work-related field assignments, I naturally find joy in connecting with children. Their curiosity, honesty, and energy always bring warmth to my heart. I enjoy listening to their stories, helping them learn new things, playing games, and simply being a positive and caring presence in their lives.

As a person, I would describe myself as responsible, trustworthy, patient, and adaptable. Growing up in a close-knit Filipino family has taught me the importance of respect, kindness, and helping others. I am comfortable assisting with children's daily routines, preparing simple meals, helping with homework, organizing activities, and supporting the family with light household tasks related to childcare.

Becoming an Au Pair is not only an opportunity for me to travel abroad, but also a chance to learn from a different culture, improve my language skills, and broaden my perspective on life. I am excited about sharing my Filipino culture, traditions, and values with your family while also learning from yours. I believe cultural exchange creates meaningful connections that can last a lifetime.

I understand that welcoming someone into your home requires trust, and I want you to know that I will do my best to be a dependable, caring, and respectful member of your family. My goal is to support your children with genuine care while creating happy memories together. I hope to become not only your Au Pair but also someone your children can feel comfortable with and look up to.
