Dear Families,
My name is Andrea and I am a 29-year-old artist from Honduras. I am an immigrant seeking to escape the violence in my country. I have a university degree in ecotourism and I am a small entrepreneur with cacao from Mesoamerica. I am also a writer of poetry, a painter, a guitar player, a singer, a dancer, and a performance artist. I have taught poetry workshops to children.
I am an empathetic, caring, and naturally oriented person who takes good care of others. I am patient, I do not have addictions, and I am a spiritual person. I am solitary and I enjoy calmness and peaceful environments. I speak great English and I am a curious person. I enjoy being with animals and with nature. I am loyal and trustworthy.
I have been twice in Europe, once in the UK, where I worked as a waitress and as an au pair with disabled people and special children and once in Germany, where I visited my boyfriend and looked for opportunities to study art but wasn't possible because of money. I do not come from a rich family and I have experienced violence in Latin America. This is why I want to find a way to go to Europe, but because I do not have the money, I would like to work as an au pair.
I want to be treated with respect and in a warm family environment. I am resilient and I push through obstacles in difficult times. I am mostly a loner, but I want to be in Europe because I feel that there are more like-minded people there than here. I do not follow a religion. I do my best and more to provide a great service. I am sensitive to the energy around me and I am looking for a chance to bring inspiration to others.
I am very good with children, especially. They trust me quickly and they find a friend in me. I have a naturally good ability with children, especially if they persue creative and artistic ambitions. I am also good with elderly people because I was raised with my grandmother and I have taken good care of her.
I am deeply inspired by the events in life and this makes me have a sensitive approach to life that results in my expressions in art. I have also been in many different environments, from offices, to cleaning, to administration, to customer service, to restaurants, to elderly care, to children, and currently I am a small entrepreneur. Therefore, I adapt with ease to new situations and I am constantly evolving. I only ask to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.
